As per the standard operating procedure issued by chief secretary Tom Jose, walking and cycling are allowed. Three major corridors in the city will be open for walking and cycling on Sunday between 5am to 10 am. The corridors mentioned in the SOP are Museum junction to Vellayambalam, Kowdiar-Raj Bhavan-Vellayambalam and Pattom-Kuravankonam-Kowdiar. Motorised traffic, except movement of emergency vehicles and essential goods, will be strictly prohibited during this time.
